Informed by more than 40 years of both practicing Vajrayana Buddhism and of having worked as a marriage and family therapist, I now offer consultation for those wanting support with personal growth, with reducing unnecessary suffering, and with experiencing greater freedom in every day life.
I engage with clients as if we are adults responsible for working with the full range of our experiencing and for the choices we make in our behavior each moment. I do my best to be a location of awareness, reflecting back what seems most accurate, rather than seeing myself as an agent of change. I Investigate possible out of date strategies of self-care and offer practices which might challenge our identification with these patterns and with our identity dramas.
I offer 60 minute sessions by phone, FaceTime, and zoom. I do not schedule anyone more frequently than once every four weeks.
